Use this index to find the official notice—not replace it.
These terms describe the role and limits of Home Recall Watch. By using the site, you agree to use it as an independent informational service.
Last updated
1. Service role
Home Recall Watch organizes selected public CPSC recall records for appliances, HVAC equipment and water heaters, generators, and power tools. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by CPSC, a recall firm, a manufacturer, or a retailer.
2. Informational use only
The site is a discovery and readability tool, not legal, technical, medical, repair, or product-safety advice. Search results, categories, normalized model lists, summaries, and related records help locate source material but are not an independent safety determination.
Do not rely on the absence of a result as proof that a product is safe or has never been recalled. This site covers only selected household-product categories, and source or processing delays can occur.
3. Data and availability
Recall facts displayed here are derived from official CPSC data. The site is generated from a verified snapshot of that data; the Methodology page describes how and when it is refreshed. Records, features, URLs, and availability may change or be interrupted.
4. Saved products
Saving a recall stores a reference in your browser. It does not register a product, subscribe you to alerts, notify a manufacturer, or guarantee future notice of an update. Browser storage can be cleared or lost.
5. External services
CPSC, SaferProducts.gov, manufacturer, and other external links are provided for context and action. Their content, availability, remedies, and privacy practices are controlled by those services, not Home Recall Watch.
6. Acceptable use
You may use the site for lawful informational purposes. Do not attempt to disrupt the service, bypass its security controls, introduce malicious code, or misrepresent Home Recall Watch content as an official government determination.
7. No warranty
The site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, no warranty is made that the site will be complete, current, uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for a specific purpose. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be limited.
8. Changes and questions
These terms may be updated as the service changes. The date at the top identifies the current version. Site-related questions can be directed through the contact page; questions about a recall should go to the contact in the official notice or to CPSC.
